Highly trained physicians and nurses cover our Emergency Department around-the-clock. The Emergency Room is open and ready to serve the community 24/7 from the mildest illnesses to severe illness and injuries.
Most Emergency Department visits can be treated on site. Typically, only 2-3% of patients need transport to a higher level of care. If inter-facility transfer is required, our Emergency providers and nurses have capabilities to initiate a transfer through ground transportation or air. If air transportation is required, a helicopter-landing pad is just yards away from our Emergency Department.
As a LEVEL III STROKE CENTER, staff are highly trained to diagnose and start treatment for those experiencing a stroke. The Emergency Department will collaborate with Neurologist and their team to initiate the transfer to a higher level of care.
While waiting to be seen, or if you are with a family or friend who is being seen in our Emergency Department, you can find a newly renovated waiting room that offers WIFI, phone charging stations and cable television.
