We take great pride in acknowledging the exceptional dedication of our nurses through the DAISY Award—this internationally acclaimed program applauds the compassionate care nurses extend to patients and their families on a daily basis.
The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem) Award originated in remembrance of J. Patrick Barnes, who passed away at the age of 33 due to an autoimmune disease. Witnessing the remarkable clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion displayed by the nurses who attended to Patrick, the Barnes family were deeply moved. In gratitude, they established this award as a way to express their appreciation to nurses across the globe. To nominate a nurse CLICK HERE
