Abilities/Skills:
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing, Missouri Nursing License in good standing, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Must have good communication skills, open-minded and receptive to change, ability to work under high-pressure conditions, remain calm in emergency situations, fast thinker, ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Duties:
AS an OR RN, you will be trained in and able to perform pre-op, intraop, and post-op duties. These duties include, but not limited to, Interviewing the patient or family, education on surgery and infection prevention, setting up needed instruments and equipment, assisting other surgical team members, monitoring the patient in recovery, and any other duties deemed necessary.
Previous experience preferred.
